Who are ELOtCP?

The Essex LOtC Provider Network Group brings together groups and individuals from across Essex who offer programmes of environmental education and Education for Sustainable Development for the benefit of schools, other groups of young people and the wider public. Together, members offer a wide range of services based at their own centres and sites, outreach and school based work and educational resources. ELOtCP are a network group of the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (CLOtC)

ELOtCP have created this website as a way to help schools and other education establishments find out what environmental and Sustainable Education services in Essex are out there to help them become a more sustainable establishment.

To find a group that is suitable for your establishments needs, go to School Visits. The locations of the ELOtCP groups which offer school visits are indicated on the ELOtCP school visits map.

If you have an enquiry about a particular Group on the ELOtCP site, please contact them via their own contact details. If you have an enquiry about the next ELOtCP conference or for any feedback about our new website, please contact us and one of the ELOtCP Members will contact you within two weeks of receiving your email.

Friday 27th and Sunday 29th October 2017  – Institute of Outdoor Learning National- Field Studies Professional Development Event – at Leeson House Field Studies Centre, Swanage. The centre is so close to many classic geography, geology and biology fieldwork sites it is the perfect setting for an event focussed on practical field studies and environmental education workshops, and to advocate best practice in outdoor learning at all ages.  To express your interest in attending and be kept informed email
